Third-party Hire & Reward insurance is provided as standard with every Today subscription. To qualify for the third-party Hire & Reward insurance, you must be over 21 years of age and have no more than 6 points on your driving license.

The third-party liability insurance included in your standard Today subscription is a SD&P (Social, Domestic & Pleasure) insurance covering your private use of our electric mopeds. It covers third-party damages only. Any cover against fire, theft, and damages to Today’s electric mopeds, or lost/damaged food & merchandise in the event of an accident where you are at fault is not included in Today’s third-party liability insurance. Since you will not be covered for the time when you are making deliveries, you will need your own separate Hire&Reward insurance coverage in place for the time you are delivering.

We try to keep the initial costs of getting you on the road as low as possible and therefore only ask for a £200 deposit at the start of your subscription. Special discounts may apply. Together with you, we will inspect your electric moped before you drive away and document all existing marks on the vehicle. Once you return the electric moped, another inspection is conducted and if no new marks are detected, your deposit is returned within 5 business days.

Once we receive a notification of your vehicle and the nature of the alleged offence, we will pass your personal contact details onto the appropriate business or authority. We will also email you the details of the alleged offence. You are responsible for payment of all fines incurred during your subscription period.
